RAMBO & RUFUS
BREED: Cockapoo / Beagle Mix; GENDER: Male; AGE: Baby; SIZE:
Small
There are two male puppies remaining from a litter of 5; Rufus and Rambo. These puppies were born
the end of May. They are ready for their new homes and have had two sets of shots and part of the adoption
contract is the complete set of shots including the rabies, plus neutering. Mama was a stray and looks like a cockapoo, but
dad was a "rolling stone". Their little heads are shaped like a beagle or a hound. They
are extremely cute and want to be part of a family. You must have a fenced yard and a big heart because they will take all
the love you want to give.

WHISKEY
BREED: Terrier / Chihuahua
Mix; GENDER: Male; AGE: Young; SIZE: Medium
Whiskey is an energetic, little love pup.
His personality is playful and friendly and he will make a wonderful addition to a good family willing to spend time
with him and play. He loves a good scratch, loves water, loves water, loves water and would make a good
beach dog or kiddy pool dog. He gets along with other dogs. He is neutered, up to date
with shots and micro-chipped. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
No small kids and cats are an unknown.

Megan BREED: Chihuahua
/ Dachshund Mix; GENDER: Female; AGE: Adult; SIZE: Small Meg is a sweet little dog pulled
from Jax ACC. She was on the "death" list and if she stayed another day she would have died.
She apparently had recently had puppies when dropped off at the shelter. She has been
be spayed. She just wants to be hugged and snuggled. She never "goes" in her
kennel so it is assumed she is housebroken. She gets along with other dogs, but would probably do best
in a home with no other dogs. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: No small children; cats are an unknown

OLIVIA
BREED: Beagle / Hound; GENDER: Female;
AGE: Young; SIZE: Small
Olivia is still a baby at heart at less than a year old. She was found wondering on a busy street
and brought to safety of the shelter. She is a typical puppy full of energy and love...kisses, kisses and more kisses.
Olivia is currently housed with Rowdy and appears to get along well with other dogs, but may be too energetic for senior pooches
(10+). If you would like to foster Olivia until she finds her forever home she would love to visit for awhile.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: No small children

ROWDY
BREED: Rottweiler / Hound; GENDER: Male;
AGE: Adult; SIZE: Medium
Rowdy is still a real youngster. We received a call from a man who said Rowdy had a broken leg and
if we did not take him he would shoot him to put him out of his misery. After the vet examined Rowdy she
confirmed it was a broken leg, but it was in an area where she thinks he was kicked. Now out of the cast,
Rowdy is running and playing with the rest of our furry residents. He loves to be scratched and gives lots
of kisses. He is crate trained and knows the words “no”, “come” and “down”;
apparently, a smart little boy. Rowdy deserves the rest of his life to be better then the beginning.
If you would like to foster Rowdy till he finds his forever home he would love to visit for awhile.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
No small children

BARNEY BREED: Cocker Spaniel / Irish Setter Mix; GENDER: Male; AGE: Adult;
SIZE: Medium
Barney
is a 5 year old neutered male, part Irish Setter and part Cocker Spaniel adopted from the North Florida Humane Society in
Putnam County Florida. He is approximately 40 #. Barney tested mildly positive for heartworms,
but has been under treatment since he was adopted and is also on monthly medication for flea and tick control. Barney
is very shy and timid although when he becomes familiar with people he is loving, loyal and fun. It is
my opinion who ever had him before we adopted him may have been abusive because he is generally afraid of men. He
loves to play with toys in the yard and to play interactive games. Barney's owners will be moving into
an apartment the end of August and would like to find a permanent home or even a foster home for him. The
owners have said they would be willing to cover foster care cost while he is waiting for a home. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: No small children; Cats an unknown.

SUNNY BREED: Yellow Lab Mix; GENDER: Male; AGE:
Adult; SIZE: Medium
Sunny is just what his name implies, .a happy boy and has a normal
lab personality. He was rescued from a kill shelter. He is very good with smaller dogs
and wants to take care of them. He would do well with another dog in the family, but he is not really good
with cats. Multiple dogs get him too excited.. He is a little lower to the ground
then a normal lab which leads us to believe he has a mix somewhere in his family. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: No small children; No cats
