HEINEKEN
BREED: Husky; GENDER: Male; AGE: Senior; SIZE:
Medium
Heinken
was rescued from a shelter that still gases their strays. He is a bit shy when around other animals but
is extremely sweet and gentle. He was rescued with his sister Chablis. He is housebroken, crate trained,
and no sign of aggression at all. A fenced yard is a must; he and his brother love to run! The
two would make a good addition to anyones family.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: No small children

SWEET
PEA BREED: Hound; GENDER:
Male; AGE: Senior; SIZE: MediumIf ever there was a beautiful
dog with the sweetest of dispositions, here he is! Sweet Pea loves attention and to be scratched and petted, rewarding
you with little kisses (actually, tongue slobbers). Any touch from human hands and he will love you forever. Sweet
Pea loves to stand on things, especially his dog house, but a creature of comfort when it is time to sleep. He gets
along well with the other residents, is not food aggressive, but stays to himself and not a high energy dog. I can't
remember the last time, if ever, I had to clean any poop out of his kennel. Likes his treats and takes them gently.
He will bring years of joy and happiness to a loving person or family that invites him into their home.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: No cats

RUSTY BREED: Jack Russell Mix; GENDER: Male; AGE: Adult;
SIZE: MediumRusty
weighs 35 pounds and is about 8 years old. He can make you understand what he wants just by staring at you and
quivering. He is very smart, loyal and enjoys a quiet atmosphere. He responds well to attention and love; while
not really interacting with other dogs he doesn't seem to be bothered by them. Rusty is food agressive and when
supper is served, it's his until finished. He would do best with a mature couple.
SPECIAL
CONSIDERATIONS: No children or cats

can thoroughly entertain himself for hours. He is also a very pretty dog with a thick soft coat of fur.

TANK
BREED:
Shepherd / Boxer (brindle); GENDER: Male; AGE: Senior+; SIZE: Large
Tank is a gentle, inquisitive, loving dog and built
like a little tank (maybe not so little). He has a quiet personality and loves a good scratch (did we mention,
loves a good scratch!). Tank gets along well with the other dogs, but at his age would probably do better
in a home with no other four-legged creatures. He has had full run of the shelter yard (as the kennel king), so a little patience
may be required until he settles in to a new home. However, he will reward your kindness and love many
fold.
SPECIAL
CONSIDERATIONS:
No other dogs or cats; Requires lots of scratches

PIGLET
BREED: Shepherd / Irish Setter; GENDER: Male; AGE: Adult;
SIZE: Medium
Piglet is a beautiful dog with a gorgeous full red and black coat. He also loves to roam free; has a great
deal of energy, and loves to play with toys . A strong and independent dog, he would do well in a home with mature
adults and older children. He is very loving and bright, house trained, but beware, he is a sneaky kissing pooch. While
not a lover of the leash, he is tolerant of it and has been taken to several events out in public. We are
not sure how he will react to cats. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
No small children; Not sure about cats
